We have to many ways to say a thing in the future. Here are the uses:
1. For a definite future arrangement with someone.· I’m having fun this evening.
Here we use the present continuous.
2. For an action in progress in the future
· I’ll be studying teaching for 5 years.
We use will.
3. For a decision about the future in our control or a prediction based on evidence.
· I’m going to study medicine.
We use be going to.
4. For a prediction, or a spontaneous decision.
- It probably will rain.
We use will.
5. For a future event fixed by a schedule. As it is a routine, we use the present simple as future.
· The bus leaves at 10am.
The bus has always the same schedule.
