Être, Avoir

 

Son los verbos más importantes.  Los necesitamos, por ejemplo, para decir: 

-J'ai dix ans: tengo diez años. 

-J'ai un chat: tengo un gato. 


-Je suis sympa: soy simpático.

-Tu es une bonne personne: eres buena persona. 



The future

We have to many ways to say a thing in the future. Here are the uses: 

1. For a definite future arrangement with someone.

· I’m having fun this evening.

Here we use the present continuous.




2. For an action in progress in the future

· I’ll be studying teaching for 5 years.

We use will.



3. For a decision about the future in our control or a prediction based on evidence.

· I’m going to study medicine.

We use be going to.



4. For a prediction, or a spontaneous decision.

- It probably will rain.

We use will.




5. For a future event fixed by a schedule. As it is a routine, we use the present simple as future.

· The bus leaves at 10am.

The bus has always the same schedule.

    Hi! today we're going to see the difference between do a sport, play a sport or go + a sport. 

1. DO:

We use it for individual sports, not for teams. 

Do gymnastics, athletics, dive, race cars, yoga, karate, archery...



2. PLAY:

They include all sports that use a ball.

Play football, baseball, handball, basketball, golf, rugby, tennis, volleyball...



3. DO:

They're sports that end in -ing. 

Do bowling, jogging, walking, swimming, surfing, shopping, golfing, cycling, hiking, dancing...
